Band Program
Malabar Public School has an excellent band program which includes both Junior and Senior Band. The junior band is for beginner students who are in their first year of playing their instrument. The senior band is for more advanced students who have played their instrument for at least 1 year. Band membership is open to all children who are in years 3-6 in 2018! Complete an enrolment form to secure your place today!
2018 Band Membership is a monthly cost, which includes all scheduled lessons, rehearsals, performances, + many more benefits! Monthly band membership is $65/month. There will be 11 equal monthly payments from Feb 1- Dec 1.
When are the rehearsals and lessons?
- Senior band rehearsal – Monday 8.00am in the Band room
- Junior band rehearsal – Friday 8.00am in the Band room
- Brass & Percussion tutorials – Monday during school
- Clarinet, Saxophone and flute tutorials – Thursday afternoon during school
