Welcome to all of our new students and welcome back to our continuing band members for this year. I am very excited for 2020 which will have many exciting performances, events, and wonderful music! ALL STUDENTS: Private Lessons Commence Week 3 (beginning Monday 10th Feb)

Concert Band: Rehearsals Commence Week 3 (beginning Monday 10th Feb)

Training Band: Rehearsals Commence Week 4 (beginning Thursday 20th Feb)

Lesson & Rehearsal Details

BAND rehearsals and lesson details:

Training Band Rehearsal – 7.50am arrival – 8.50am, Thursdays, School Hall
Concert Band Rehearsal – 7.50am arrival – 8.50am, Mondays, School Hall
Band Instrumental Lessons – Monday – Thursday during school hours (Your specific lesson day will be emailed to you prior to lessons commencing in Week 3)

Welcome!

Double Bay PS has a thriving school band program, which includes two bands – Training Band and Concert Band. Training Band is for beginner students who are in their first year of playing their instrument. Concert Band is for more advanced students who have played their instrument for at least 1 year. All band members can look forward to many exciting performance opportunities and events throughout the year.

Band membership is open to all children who are in years 3-6!
