Instrument Hire
DIM's instrument hire program makes it easy to try your instrument for your first term of band, without the upfront commitment of purchasing.
We are a Premium Dealer for Jupiter Musical Instruments, so you can be assured of a high quality instrument which means a great start to your playing!
Please note:
- Instruments NOT available for hire include violins, cellos, pianos, keyboards, bass guitars & drum kits.
- DIM Instrument Hire is only available to currently enrolled DIM students.
- High quality Jupiter instruments.
- Great competitive rates – $150 per school term for ALL instruments.
- Minimum hire period of 1 school term ($150 minimum cost).
- $150 Security deposit payable ($250 for saxophones), refundable upon satisfactory return of instrument.
- After the first 3 months (1 school term), your instrument hire can be renewed in 3 month blocks for as long as you wish.
- Hire Instruments can be purchased at the end of any term, and your first term of hire fees will be credited towards your purchase price.
- Hire can be cancelled at the end of any school term, with sufficient notice given.
- Expert advice you can trust from our team of experienced teachers and musicians.
- Follow up advice and servicing.

- Delivery fee applies, or you can make an appointment to collect your instrument from our HQ in Maroubra.
